Our Story

Founded in 2019 by Temisan, a UK-born Nigerian reconnecting with her roots, Naborhi was born from a life-changing journey. A three-month trip to Nigeria lit a fire that refused to be extinguished. Immersed in the vibrant energy, the intricate prints, the music, and the rhythmic heartbeat of the continent, Temisan returned to the UK with a singular mission: to bring the spirit of Africa to wardrobes around the world.

What Naborhi Means

The name Naborhi comes from the Urhobo people of Nigeria. It translates to “Born with Good Destiny” — a powerful reminder that greatness already lives within each of us. We carry that spirit into every silhouette we design. Every piece is handmade in Africa, by African hands, designed with deep intention and rooted in heritage.
