The KELE waistcoat top is a statement piece that also knows how to support one. Wear it over a plain shirt or dress for instant structure and print. Wear it alone with high-waisted trousers as the centrepiece. Either way, the Ankara wax print does exactly what it always does — it commands the room without asking permission.

Kele — short for Chukwukele — is an Igbo name meaning God has given. A name of gratitude and arrival. This waistcoat carries that same energy.

Wear over a plain white shirt with the KELE palazzo trousers for the full look. Or wear alone with high-waisted jeans or trousers. The waistcoat adds structure and intention to any outfit.

The Fabric

Mud cloth is one of West Africa's oldest visual languages — patterns once used to mark identity, status and story. Kele reinterprets that heritage in deep navy on a premium cotton wax base, placed as a bold panel across the chest. The print carries the culture; the clean silhouette carries the authority.
